This project had a focus on portraiture and specifically staged portraiture. the goal was to use and focus on different types of natural lighting, being diffused and direct lighting. The goal was to stage the subject directly in the middle of the frame and the inclusion of a less shallow depth of field was intended to show a more urban environment to add texture and color to the composition that a shallow depth of field has a harder time conveying. The color grading was a mix of warming the highlights and cooling the shadows to give the overall composition a more friendly and approachable appearance.
